Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Australian Aboriginal Progressive Association (AAPA)

To mark the centenary of the Australian Aboriginal Progressive Association (AAPA), an incredible line-up of activists, historians and experts will present the Centenary Forum for the Australian Aboriginal Progressive Association 1924–2024 at the State Library of New South Wales.

Discussions will be followed by the official launch of the new edition of John Maynard’s groundbreaking book Fight for Liberty and Freedom.

A display of items connected to the history of the AAPA will also be on show.
