GLAMSLAM 2026 – a day for those working in (and with) the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums sector – is returning on Thursday, 23rd April 2026.

Please join us for this annual industry get-together, where we share our work, swap stories and discuss pressing issues in GLAM.

This year, the Australian Centre for Public History, UTS, is delighted to be hosting GLAMSLAM in partnership with the Australian Museum.

When: Thursday, 23 April 2026, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEDT.

Where: Australian Museum – 1 William Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney NSW 2010.

Call for Participation (CFP) is still open!

As always, GLAMSLAM 2026 will be participant-led, by you!

If you have a burning question, an issue for debate, a new exhibition, a project, or something else you’d like to share with colleagues, please respond to the CFP to give a short ‘lightning talk’ presentation. You are also welcome to submit a proposal for a group lightning talk with colleagues.

Whether you plan to give a lightning talk or not, please let us know what you think are the most pressing issues in the GLAM sector today by clicking on the link below.
