The Journal of the Royal Australian Historical Society (JRAHS), is published twice yearly and contains a wide range of scholarly articles and reviews.

The current editor is Associate Professor Carol Liston and the Review Editor is Anne-Maree Whitaker. The editor welcomes articles in Australia history that are the outcome of original research and have not been previously published. Articles are peer-reviewed prior to publication.

The book review editor welcomes scholarly, non fictional publications in Australian and Pacific history and politics.

JRAHS is sent free to members of the RAHS.

JRAHS is the oldest journal of Australian history. Volume 1 was published in 1906. In 2011, the RAHS published Volume 97.

Individual  issues from volume 78 onwards can be purchased for $11 and earlier back copies (if available) can be purchased for $5.50 (plus postage).
