Learn about new developments in local and community history as we explore Country Calling: History on the Land.

SESSION A: Facing the Truth: How to Create History with Aboriginal Peoples: Historians, curators and archaeologists will provide advice and guidance on how historical societies and local history researchers can engage with Aboriginal communities in meaningful ways. Speakers: Marika Duczynski (Repatriation Officer, Chau Chak Wing Museum); Dr Stephen Gapps (historian and curator); and Dr Iain Stuart (RAHS President and archaeologist, Artefact Heritage).

SESSION B: Best on Show: Country Shows and their Communities: Community historians will to take a closer look at the importance of agricultural shows to our local history. Speakers: Judith Dunn OAM (RAHS Councillor); Liz Harfull (historian and author); and Graham Shirley (RAHS Vice President).
