Join the RAHS for two special online seminars on the history of land and community life in Western Sydney.

Held over two consecutive Tuesday mornings in November, Associate Professor Carol Liston AO, RAHS President Christine Yeats, and RAHS Councillor Judith Dunn will discuss the history of land settlement, the history of the Parramatta cemeteries, and show you practical skills to help you research using online tools such as Trove and HLRV.

  • Associate Professor Carol Liston will provide an overview of the history of land in Western Sydney and how land records can provide rich detail about local history.
  • RAHS Councillor Judith Dunn will unravel the history of the eight Parramatta cemeteries from 1790 to the present.
