RAHS / WEA Workshop – Basic Conservation Guidelines
March 11 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm$32 – $35
This event is in partnership with WEA Sydney
This presentation will explore conservation fundamentals such as handling, cleaning, display and storage of a variety of objects. We will examine different types of objects − documents, photographs, textiles, metal, wood and ceramics and see how they deteriorate. Tegan Anthes will provide some demonstrations of techniques that you can use and when you should call a conservator. She encourages you to bring along an object to discuss and advise on how to put some of the recommendations into practice.
