The program will feature a number of skills-based presentations – valuable learning opportunities for all. Jenna Bain from the State Library of NSW will present ‘From New York to Nimbin: Amplifying the Library’s sound archive via open-source and the machine’, sharing the successful development and implementation of ‘Amplify’, a platform for the delivery and transcription of its oral history collections.
Debbie Sommers of Port Macquarie Historical Society will introduce us to ‘eHive’, used by hundreds of museums and societies all over the world to catalogue and publish their collections online.
We look forward to highlighting more speaker presentations in the weeks to come and our conference website has plenty of information to help plan your RAHS conference weekend in Cowra in October: www.rahs.org.au/2017-rahs-conference
