Paterson and Lawson

Henry Lawson & A.B ‘Banjo’ Paterson

The City of Canada Bay Heritage Society invites you to hear a talk on A.B ‘Banjo’ Paterson & Henry Lawson

Henry Lawson and AB ‘Banjo’ Paterson made their marks in Australian culture and literature with their classic bush poetry – painting the face of a young nation – but behind the stories, poems and legends lie two men who despite having many similarities in early life took very different paths in life.

About the Speaker: Tim Hunter has a long history with community theatres, both acting and “behind the scenes”. He has a passion for poetry, particularly Paterson’s work. He will be talking about the poets as well as reading some of their well-known poems.
