City of Sydney Historical Association (COSHA), as part of the 2018 Australian Heritage Festival presents: The Good Old Bad Old Days 

City of Sydney Historical AssociationJoin cultural historian, author, broadcaster and performer Warren Fahey, as he tells the stories of the 2011 postcode of Sydney’s inner-east that offers a fascinating history of Sydney’s high life, low life and sometimes, very low life. Warren will deliver an eclectic romp through the social history of Sydney’s most famous neighbourhood from:

  • Scenic rollercoaster rides at Rushcutters Bay White City amusement park
  • Maritime mischief down at the ‘Loo
  • The scandal of ‘peeping toms’ at Elizabeth Bay
  • Memories of cabaret’s greats at the Silver Spade in Potts Point
  • The origins of the darker side of Kings Cross
