Access LPI – Changes

LPI has announced from 1 July 2016 researchers will no longer be able to purchase documents using their credit cards.  Financial transactions have been tendered out to 9 commercial search agents.  The RAHS is raising this closure with the authorities and investigating the services and charges of these legal search agents.

Further information will be added to the RAHS website in relation to the services of the different agents.

The search room at Queens Square will remain open and provide access to deposited deeds, indexes and access for deposited deeds packets and primary application search packs.

Members should go to and the historic land records viewer [HLRV] for free access to early Torrens Titles, indexes to Old System Records and progressively copies of Old System Deeds.

The RAHS will continue to run workshops to help members investigate these records.  The next workshop will be held at:
