State History Conference Cooks River 20-21 October 2012

“Saturated With Filth and Corruption”: NSW History?

The RAHS is happy to announce that the 2012 State History Conference will be held at Rowers on Cooks River (St George Rowing Club), 1 Levey Street, Wolli Creek, Sydney, on the weekend of 20-21 October 2012.

The name for this evocative theme derived from the 1883 New South Wales Legislative Council Noxious and Offensive Trades Enquiry. This topic should give us plenty to explore!

The RAHS and its Affiliated Societies Committee is currently planning a very interesting program of speakers, workshops, walks and visits in conjunction with the conference. More information will be provided, but mark your diaries now.
